George Kittle Worth Starting If He Plays
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (foot) has been sidelined since Week 8 after fracturing his foot. However, there appears to be a decent chance that he returns to the field this week against the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers have been ravaged by injuries all year and this week they will be starting their third-string quarterback C.J. Beathard. They'll be without their No. 1 running back Raheem Mostert (knee) and their No. 2 receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring). Right now, Brandon Aiyuk is the team's only consistently productive pass-catcher. If Kittle returns, he should see a decent workload and is worth gambling on if you don't have one of the few elite tight ends at your disposal.
