George Kittle Set To Succeed In Week 17
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle had a solid game in his return to action in Week 16 against the Arizona Cardinals. He caught four of his five targets for 92 yards, leading the team in receiving yards by a long-shot as no other 49er had over 30 receiving yards. This week, Kittle and the 49ers face the Seattle Seahawks, who have the league's worst pass defense, allowing 287.9 passing yards per game. Kittle will be the No. 1 target for quarterback C.J. Beathard, especially with Brandon Aiyuk (ankle) out. The only downside for Kittle is that the Seahawks will be able to key in on him since the 49ers don't have any other marquee pass-catching options. Still, Kittle should see enough targets to make for a strong fantasy game this week even if the Seahawks make things tough on him. Start him as a clear, high-end TE1 in Week 17.
