19 seconds agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) is expected to return to practice on Wednesday after sitting out the Week 11 divisional loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday due to hamstring irritation that he picked up in the Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle was "close" to playing on Sunday. Barring a setback once the 31-year-old returns to practice this week, he should be able to return in Week 12 against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday. With elevated playing time against Seattle with Kittle out, Eric Saubert failed to take advantage and caught one pass for seven yards. Despite missing two games this year due to injury, Kittle is the TE2 in half-PPR scoring with 43 receptions, 560 yards and a league-leading seven touchdowns.
