George Kirby Takes Win During Mixed Outing
Seattle Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby wasn't his sharpest on Thursday but came away with the win over the Oakland Athletics anyway. Kirby was awarded with a quality start, giving up three runs over seven innings. He threw 72 of his 98 pitches for strikes but struck out two hitters on the day. The righty allowed a home run on the day and his ERA now sits at 3.11 with a 0.98 WHIP. Through six starts he has three wins and will look to continue to provide great numbers for fantasy managers his next time out.
