Geno Smith Limited In Friday Practice
11 months agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith (groin) was limited in practice for a second day in a row on Friday. The 33-year-old missed Week 14's rematch against the San Francisco 49ers after picking up a groin injury during practice last week. In his stead, backup Drew Lock passed for 269 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in the 28-16 loss. The Seahawks are still technically in the playoff hunt and will be desperate for a win in Week 15 when they play the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. If he can go on Monday, he will be treated to a defense that is among the most generous to opposing quarterbacks. The Eagles have allowed the fifth-most passing yards and second-most passing touchdowns in the league, giving a healthy Smith QB2 status with upside.
