1 month agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith checks in as a QB2 in Week 15. The Seahawks will host the Green Bay Packers this week who have been tough against the pass all season. Smith has enjoyed a nice year statistically. He has thrown for 3,474 yards while completing 69.5% of his passes. He has even cut down on interceptions lately having only thrown two in the past four games. His issue has been touchdowns. Smith has only thrown 14 touchdown passes this season. That does not project to improve against an excellent Packers secondary. The Seahawks have been far more balanced on offense lately. They have not asked Smith to throw the ball more than 34 times in a game since Week 6. Seattle's defense has played better which has allowed time for the offense to operate. The Seahawks are winning games as a result. With all the recent success, do not expect the Seahawks to change their strategy. Smith has a solid baseline of 12 to 13 fantasy points.
