2 mins agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith checks in as a QB2 in Seattle's Week 13 matchup with the New York Jets. The Jets have not been as dominant at stopping the pass in recent weeks. Additionally, their offense does not project to force Seattle to take to the air repeatedly. The Seahawks have also toned down their passing volume over the last several weeks. Smith threw at least 44 passes in four of the team's first six games. However, he has not exceeded 34 attempts since Week 6. The Seahawks should be in a neutral to positive game script for most of this one and are likely to try and establish the run and stick to it on a frigid New York day. The Jets are No. 15 against opposing quarterbacks in fantasy. As such, if Smith does have to take to the air, this is not the most frightening matchup. Even so, with no teams on a bye this week, you can likely do much better than Smith. Leave him on your bench in Week 13.--Quincy Milton III - RotoBaller
