Gavin Stone Tries To Right The Ship in Triple-A
1 year agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Gavin Stone is attempting to rebound from a rough start to his big league career. Stone has bounced back and forth between Los Angeles and Triple-A Oklahoma City this season and has made three starts since he was optioned on July 5. Those outings have yielded positive results over 17 innings, as the 24-year-old has a 3.18 ERA while striking out a batter per inning since his demotion. This is an encouraging sign for scarred fantasy managers, as Stone was sent down with a 12.75 ERA and a whopping 3.00 WHIP over 12 big league innings with Los Angeles. Stone remains an intriguing dynasty option moving forward, and he is on the shortlist for a call-up back to the big leagues.
