Gavin Stone Optioned To Triple-A Friday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers prospect Gavin Stone was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday. Wander Suero was recalled in a corresponding move. Stone struggled in his MLB debut on Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking one across four innings. The 24-year-old is the Dodger's No. 4 prospect and should get another opportunity this season to pitch in the big leagues. He owned a 0.93 ERA and a 15:4 K: BB in his two previous starts with Triple-A Oklahoma City before getting the call to the show. Fantasy managers should continue stashing Stone in deep-league formats, and he remains a must-roster in dynasty leagues.
