Gary Woodland Struggles For Third Consecutive Tournament
7 years agoGary Woodland, currently the 26th-ranked player in the official World Golf rankings, finished the WGC-Mexico Championship in 50th place. His only round under par was his final round, where he shot a three-under 68. Since his win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, he has missed a cut and placed 49th and 50th in back-to-back tournaments. While always a threat to be a contender in a tournament because of his long-ball ability, he really needs to show more consistency on the course before you should trust him in your lineups. If you do put him in your lineups, he’s a high-priced risk.
