Gary Trent Jr. Scores Career-High 31 Points
4 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard Gary Trent Jr. had a big performance in Wednesday's loss to the Thunder, racking up a career-high 31 points on 12-for-22 shooting. He went 6-for-11 from three-point range and added a pair of rebounds and steals to his line in 36 minutes of action. Trent Jr. is a confident scorer, and he's gotten better with each game since the Raptors picked him up in a trade that sent Norman Powell to Portland a week ago. He starts next week with a nice matchup against Washington's poor defense, but there's a meeting with the Warriors coming up before that. Golden State has limited opposing shooting guards to a lowly 41.2 percent shooting this season.
