1 year agoToronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. is opting into his $18.5 million player option for the 2023-24 season. According to Chris Haynes of TNT and Bleacher Report, this was announced by Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul and Trent's agent Lucas Newton. The 24-year-old 3-and-D wing took a bit of a step back this past season, mainly due to injury issues that prevented him from playing in 16 games. While he saw a decrease in minutes, he also saw a decline in his three-point percentage, points, rebounds, assists, and steals.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
