6 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (groin) has been working out in Tampa, Fla., and is scheduled to run on the field. He has been hitting off a tee, doing soft toss and throwing drills, and the team plans to have him fly back to New York on Sunday. While Sanchez does have 14 home runs and 42 RBI, he's been a disaster with his .188/.283/.416 slash line in 245 at-bats. There remains no timetable for his return, but at least he's making some progress. Austin Romine should continue seeing most of the starts behind the dish until Sanchez is back.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
