Gary Sanchez Homers Twice As Yanks Win
7 years agoThe New York Yankees connected for four home runs for a second consecutive game on Tuesday night as catcher Gary Sanchez starred in an 8-3 victory. The All-Star catcher smacked a solo home run to right center in the second inning, putting his team on the board and tying the game at a run apiece. In the seventh, the 25-year-old drilled his second home run of the game, a two-run blast to Monument Park. After starting slow, Sanchez has really picked it up at the plate over the last seven games, hitting .333 with eight RBI and a pair of home runs.
