6 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez (groin) did a catching workout and hit in the cages on Monday, and the Yankees are aiming to have him play in the Gulf Coast League in games next week. Sanchez hasn't been feeling any pain, but he also has yet to run at full speed or hit on the field. The star catcher has really struggled to a slash line of .188/.283/.416 this year, but his 14 home runs and 42 RBI continue to be useful at a barren position.
