Garrett Wilson Leads The Jets Wide Receivers Again In Week 3
2 years agoNew York Jets rookie wide receiver Garrett Wilson led the Jets wide receivers in catches and yards again in a Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Wilson saw 10 targets, making six catches for 60 yards. He missed a few snaps while being evaluated for a rib injury, but was able to return to the game. He and Elijah Moore tied for the team lead in wide receiver targets with 10, both one behind rookie running back Breece Hall's 11. While this was nowhere near as big a game as he had in Week 2, Wilson's usage here showed that he is at this point clearly becoming the unquestioned WR1 in the Jets offense. That's not likely to change when Zach Wilson (knee) returns.
