Garrett Temple Plans To Sign With Nets
5 years agoWhile the big news in Brooklyn was the team’s signings of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the team also added guard Garrett Temple. Temple will likely absorb some of the minutes that Allen Crabbe played last year as the team’s fourth guard and while Temple’s 2018-2019 season didn’t inspire too much confidence when you look at how he played once he went to the Clippers at the end of the year, he flashed some scoring ability in his 49 starts for the Kings and can provide Brooklyn with solid shooting off the bench. That’s not likely to translate into huge fantasy numbers, but Temple’s a good shooter and if he gets an opportunity to move into a bigger role, he’ll be in a position to provide some decent value. Still, his fantasy value depending on other factors isn’t the best sign, and there would have been better fantasy landing spots for the veteran.
