Garrett Crochet Goes Back On Injured List
1 year agoThe Chicago White Sox placed left-hander Garrett Crochet (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list (retroactive to June 17) with a left-shoulder impingement on Tuesday and reinstated right-hander Jimmy Lambert (ankle) from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. Crochet got a late start to the season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but now he's on the shelf with a shoulder injury after making 10 appearances out of the bullpen. The 23-year-old southpaw had allowed five runs (four earned) on 10 hits while walking 11 and striking out nine in 10 innings. It's highly unlikely that Crochet will rejoin Chicago's relief corps until after the All-Star break in mid-July.
