1 year agoWinnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) is questionable for Saturday's fascinating matchup against Carolina. He left Thursday's contest versus Dallas early, sitting out the third period of a 4-1 loss. Jets head coach Rick Bowness said postgame that he is "concerned" about Vilardi's availability for Saturday's game. The 24-year-old forward finished Thursday's clash without a point, but he has been one of Winnipeg's most productive players in 2023-24. In 38 outings, Vilardi has collected 30 points (16 goals, 14 assists). Bowness will need to shuffle his top six if Vilardi isn't available at the weekend.
