Freddy Peralta To Rejoin Rotation This Week
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta (shoulder) will rejoin the starting rotation later this week. It's unknown which day he will start or against which team, but Chase Anderson is a candidate to be moved to the bullpen. The 22-year-old Peralta has electrifying stuff at times (11.1 career K/9), but he's also walked 4.4 hitters per nine innings in his two years in the majors and is too up and down to trust in shallow mixed leagues. He'll be a matchup-based play in deeper leagues, but he'll be even riskier in his first start back this week. Peralta is 1-0 with an ugly 7.13 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 22 K's in 17 2/3 innings over his four starts.
