Freddy Galvis Day-To-Day With Groin Injury
4 years agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop Freddy Galvis (groin) is considered day-to-day after leaving Monday's game with what was described as left adductor soreness, according to Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun. Galvis had hit an RBI double in the bottom of the second inning, and was then replaced defensively in the top of the third inning. He has been off to a solid start this season, slashing .254/.312/.437 with two home runs, five RBI and 10 runs scored in 21 games. He's mostly an option in AL-only formats, but managers who have him rostered should look for a potential replacement for the next game or two.
