Freddie Freeman Not Going Anywhere In A Trade
Freddie Freeman isn't going anywhere. Freeman is still one of the best first basemen in the league and wants to stay in Atlanta long term. The 31-year-old is slashing .274/.381/.489 halfway through the 2021 season, adding 19 home runs, 58 runs scored, 50 RBI and even four stolen bases in six attempts. Atlanta's lineup lost a crucial component when Ronald Acuna Jr. (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL recently, but Freeman remains a high-end fantasy asset. Don't expect him to change uniforms later this month.
