5 years agoAtlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman (elbow) expects to play in either Saturday or Sunday's contest after suffering an injury on Friday. Freeman left Friday's game against the Washington Nationals after aggravating a bone spur in his right elbow. Freeman has been dealing with the issue for awhile now, so he should be able to play through it. However, the Braves may decide to give their veteran slugger a day off to rest.
