4 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Franmil Reyes has been away from camp as a safety precaution after he spent time at an Independence Day party without masks, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports. Indians manager Terry Francona said, "He's not in the penalty box. I want to make that perfectly clear. It's just how we have to operate right now. He was extremely apologetic." Reyes was enjoying a very strong early spring until COVID concerns halted his momentum. He dropped 18 pounds over the winter and could be a big asset for Cleveland during this shortened season. For fantasy purposes, if you can withstand a low batting average and some strikeouts, Reyes is a great source of relatively cheap power, as the market has yet to catch up to his potential.--James Stokke
