2 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Frankie Montas (shoulder) could be headed to the injured list, according to manager Aaron Boone. Montas received an MRI on his ailing shoulder, which has been bothering him since mid-July. He already spent time on the IL earlier this season with a shoulder issue and the team currently has the results of said MRI. The Yankees are going to have the results reviewed by a team doctor back in New York before they determine if they want to place Montas n the IL or not. The team will travel back to the Bronx after they wrap up their series against the Brewers in Milwaukee. Stay tuned.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
