Frank Schwindel Officially Makes Roster
6 years agoThe Kansas City Royals announced on Monday that first baseman/catcher Frank Schwindel had officially made the major league roster. The announcement came during an exhibition game with the team's Triple-A affiliate. Schwindel brings some serious power potential to the lineup, but unfortunately, he's likely going to struggle to see regular at-bats and could possibly be back in Triple-A in a week or two. The team has multiple off days early in the season, so they're currently carrying one more position player than usual. With Schwindel being the bubble player, there's a chance that he takes the shuttle back to Omaha once the team needs a fifth starter.
