Frank Gore Rushes For 60 Yards In Week 5
5 years agoBuffalo Bills running back Frank Gore shouldered the rushing workload for the Bills once again in Week 5, but the results were slightly underwhelming. Gore carried the ball 14 times and gained 60 yards in the game. He had managed double-digit fantasy points in standard-scoring leagues for three straight weeks before this week's game. It was Gore's fourth straight game with 14 or more carries. His backup, T.J. Yeldon, was the only other running back to receive a carry, earning only two. Rookie running back Devin Singletary (hamstring) will likely be ready to return to action after the team's Week 6 bye and should take some of Gore's workload away, so Gore could be dropped in leagues of 12 teams or less, especially PPR formats since he offers little value in the passing game.
