Francisco Lindor Hits .304 With 11 Doubles In June
5 years agoCleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor increased his season-long batting average to .291 after hitting .304 in June. He doubled 11 times, scored 17 runs and added six stolen bases in his productive month. Lindor is amongst the top 10% of the league in xBA (.296) this year and his 42.9% hard-hit rate is a career-best mark for him. After his 38-home run outburst in 2018, he's sagging a bit behind that pace so far this year, with 12 home runs in 64 games, a 162-game pace of about 30. But he's producing what you'd hope for just about everywhere else and he's stealing bases at a career-best rate with 12 on the year. If Jose Ramirez can heat up in the second half of the year, it would help give Lindor some much-needed support, but either way, Lindor helps your hitting across the board and is showing no lingering effects of his offseason calf and ankle injuries.
