Francisco Lindor Continues To Heat Up
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 1-for-2 with a walk in the Mets 3-2 walk-off win against the Baltimore Orioles. Lindor has now hit safely in five straight games and has seen his first stretch of sustained success in Flushing. Saddled with a recently signed enormous contract and the accompanying lofty expectations, Lindor struggled in April. Since the turn of the calendar, Lindor has scored a run in six of nine games and has returned to being one of the top shortstops in all of baseball. Fantasy managers do not care if it was a rat, raccoon, or something more realistic, so long as it keeps Lindor hitting. The Mets have three upcoming series all on the road against the Rays, Braves, and Marlins, and continue to expect Lindor to hit this road trip. If you were able to bench him, get him back in your lineup.
