Francisco Lindor Belts Two Homers On Saturday
3 years agoNew York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor went 3-for-5 with two home runs, five RBI, and two runs scored in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday against the Nationals. Lindor accounted for all five runs in the Mets 5-1 victory. Lindor went 1-for-3 in the nightcap, which the Mets dropped 6-2, to finish the day 4-for-7. It was a nice breakout for Lindor who entered the day in an 0-for-11 slide. Lindor now has eight homers on the season to go with 21 RBI. He has had a frustrating 2021 campaign which has seen periods of hot-hitting mixed with long slumps at the plate. Fantasy managers should continue to remain patient with Lindor and keep him active at all times since he can break out at any time, as he exemplified on Saturday.
