5 years agoHouston Astros pitcher Framber Valdez will get the starting nod Sunday versus the Angels, and he'll remain in the rotation moving forward. Manager AJ Hinch confirmed he'll take over Aaron Sanchez' spot in the rotation after he was placed on the IL earlier this week. Valdez holds an underwhelming 5.58 ERA and 1.58 WHIP through 20 appearances with the Astros this season, but will carry fantasy value the rest of the way as a starter. He's streamable in his start Sunday, and his next matchup will come August 31 against the Blue Jays in another juicy matchup. He's worth a pickup in all formats.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
