Framber Valdez Throws Second Career Shutout
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez continued his excellent season versus the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The left-hander achieved his second career shutout with only four hits allowed, while striking out seven in the victory. To be fair, it was against the struggling A's lineup, but still an impressive performance. He now holds a 2.45 ERA and a 72/12 K/BB ratio in 66 innings. Valdez had a breakout season in 2021 and has continued to rise since then. Fantasy managers are loving what they see from Valdez right now.
