Forrest Whitley Makes Return To Minor League Action
6 years agoHouston Astros pitching prospect Forrest Whitley (oblique), who hasn't pitched in the minors since July 5, threw 35 pitches over two scoreless innings for Double-A Corpus Christi on Tuesday. He walked two and struck out two in the outing. Whitley was also suspended 50 games this year, so he's gone just 0-1 with a 4.29 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 30 strikeouts in 21 innings over six starts before Tuesday at Double-A. He's Houston's top prospect and should already be on the radar of those in dynasty leagues.
