Filip Gustavsson Makes Another Start For Ottawa
3 years agoOttawa Senators goaltender Filip Gustavsson will be the man between the pipes on Thursday against Vegas. The 23-year-old Swede earns a second consecutive start and will become the goalie with most games played this season for Ottawa. Gustavsson has had a rollercoaster ride so far, picking up a pair of wins but also getting lit up on a couple of occasions. He allowed five goals on 43 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to Minnesota. Gustavsson has a 2-1-1 record for the season with a 2.96 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage. He faces a team that is battling injuries and has shot blanks twice in the last five games, so it looks like a decent spot for Gustavsson to add another win to his tally.
