New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil was injured and had to be helped off the ice during a skate on Friday morning. Friday was just his second skate back in New York after he returned to his native Czechia to rest and recover from a concussion suffered on Nov. 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes. Any lengthy injury would be devastating considering Chytil has missed his team's last 37 games and is still without a timetable to return from his concussion. Chytil is without a goal alongside six assists in 10 games on the season after he broke out with 22 goals and 45 points across 74 contests last season. The former first-round pick should slot into the third-line center role whenever he is able to return to game action.--Brenton Kemp
