New York Rangers center Filip Chytil (concussion) has returned back to New York after leaving the team to rehab his injury in his native Czechia. However, he is without a timeline to return to practice with the team and he has not yet been cleared to do so. "Our doctors will let us know when he's cleared," Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette said on Tuesday. The 24-year-old hasn't appeared since leaving a Nov. 2 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes midway through the contest after skating 10:23 across 12 shifts. He didn't find the back of the net across his first 10 games as he sits with six assists and 22 shots on the season after a career year that saw him post 22 goals and 45 points across 74 contests a season ago.--Brenton Kemp
