Fernando Tatis Jr.'s Timeline Pushed Back

San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr.'s (wrist) CT scan on Monday didn't reveal the level of healing that the Padres had hoped for, so his timeline will be moved back. Fantasy managers can forget about Tatis making his season debut later this month, as that is now out of the question, and he might not return until after the All-Star break now. The 23-year-old has done some running and has fielded ground balls, but he's yet to be cleared to swing a bat as he recovers from a fractured wrist. The young phenom remains without a timetable for a return, but he should be stashed in all fantasy formats after leading the league with 42 home runs while driving in 97 and stealing 25 bags in just 130 games last year.
