Falcons Will Keep Dan Quinn, Thomas Dimitroff
5 years agoAtlanta Falcons owner and chairman Arthur M. Blank announced that head coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff will be retained into the 2020 season. Additionally, Raheem Morris has been named the defensive coordinator, effective at the end of the 2019 season. Since moving back to defensive duties midway through this season, the Falcons Defense went from 31st in the league in scoring defense to the top 10 in most statistical categories. After a rough start, Atlanta is now 6-9 and in third place in the NFC South behind the Saints and Buccaneers. If the team's defense can maintain their improvements into 2020, the Falcons could return to contention very quickly.
