Falcons Waive Mykal Walker
1 year agoThe Atlanta Falcons have waived linebacker Mykal Walker on Sunday. The team originally selected Walker in the fourth round of the 2020 draft. Walker recorded 107 tackles, one sack, and two interceptions in 16 games (12 starts) for the Falcons last season. It's a bit odd to see the Falcons moving on from Walker who is coming off the best season of his career. His release comes after the signing of USFL defensive player of the year Frank Ginda. There are still three weeks before the regular season begins, so Walker should be able to find another home.
