Ezekiel Elliott Splits Carries In Week 14
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott split carries with his backup Tony Pollard in a Week 14 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Elliott ran the ball 12 times, gaining 48 yards and added two catches for 11 yards on three targets. Meanwhile, Pollard saw only one touch less than Elliott and looked like the more explosive back in what continues to be a tough season for "Zeke". Elliott hasn't scored a rushing touchdown since Dak Prescott got hurt and has only one receiving score since then too. His split work was likely due to the calf injury he was dealing with all week, but if Pollard keeps playing better, Elliott may continue ceding touches for the remainder of the season.
