Ezekiel Elliott Should Run the Cowboys Offense in Week 3
6 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has essentially become the entire offense for the team. Their whole playbook seems to be, "get the ball to Zeke" written in crayon. Quarterback Dak Prescott has eclipsed 212 yards passing in just one of his past 10 games and has thrown more than one touchdown just twice in that span. This season, every single Cowboys wide receiver has combined for 24 catches for 286 yards. This offense runs through Elliott, and that gives him a significantly high floor and ceiling regardless of game script. He's a safe RB1 this and every week and comes in as the overall RB3 in Week 3's rankings.
