Ezekiel Elliott Scores Twice In A Week 16 Blowout Win
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott (knee) scored two touchdowns in a Week 16 blowout win over the Washington Football Team. Elliott ran the ball nine times for 37 yards and a score and caught his only touchdown for a five yard touchdown. His rushing score came on an 11-yard run in the second quarter, helping the Cowboys open up a 42-7 lead at halftime. Dallas ended up resting most of their starters in the second half, but fantasy managers had to be happy with Elliott's two touchdowns, something he hadn't done since Week 10. With the Cowboys already officially NFC East winners and Elliott still not looking completely healed from his knee injury, it wouldn't be surprising to see the team rest him or at least limit his snaps for the next two weeks.
