Ezekiel Elliott Runs In Quicksand In Week 17
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott looked like he was running through quicksand in a Week 17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. "Zeke" couldn't get anything going, running the ball nine times for just 16 yards. He was targeted twice, catching one pass for a 14-yard gain. There was news all week about how fast and agile Elliott looked in practice, but none of that showed in the game. Once again, Tony Pollard was the more effective and explosive back in a Cowboys uniform. Elliott will remain the starter in Dallas, but he's just a touchdown-dependent RB2 at this point.
