5 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott was not present for Cowboys training camp on Friday. He missed his physical and the team's first conditioning run. Elliott was expected to hold out and this just confirms it, as the running back wants a new contract. Elliott is under contract, so he needs to report to camp by August 6th in order to still be on track to be an unrestricted free agent in 2021. Given his current deal, the Cowboys can issue a fine to Elliott for each day of camp he misses. He's not expected to actually miss any real playing time, but it remains a situation to keep an eye on just in case.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
