Ezekiel Elliott Included In Workouts With Former Teammates
1 year agoFree-agent running back Ezekiel Elliott remains unsigned after Dallas released him in March. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hasn't slammed the door on potentially bringing back the former Buckeye, so many believe there's still a chance he'll eventually return to the team that drafted him in 2016. Quarterback Dak Prescott revealed on Wednesday that Elliott has been participating in workout sessions with Cowboys' players at the signal-caller's home, adding more fuel to return rumblings. "That's my best friend," said Prescott. "He looks great. I'm excited for whatever opportunity he has coming up, and I'm always his biggest fan." Nonetheless, with training camp around the corner, Elliott may sign somewhere relatively soon. However, until the 27-year-old officially finds a new team, his fantasy stock is lower than ever.
