Ezekiel Elliott In Shape To Play In Week 1
5 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is "very close" to inking an extension with the Cowboys and his agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said that his client is in shape to play in Week 1 this Sunday against the Giants if there is a contract. Elliott has flown back from Cabo, Mexico, and is currently in Dallas, so it's looking like a resolution could come very soon. Zeke has been a consensus top-five fantasy pick in the first round of drafts, and he might not miss any regular season games. With that said, it's impossible to know how much Dallas will actually use him in the opener if a deal is struck, but fantasy owners won't be benching him if he's active. Tony Pollard will have flex appeal if Elliott doesn't play, but he's mostly useless when Dallas' lead back is on the field.
