Ezekiel Elliott Could Struggle Again In Week 9
4 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott might be fighting an uphill battle against the Steelers in Week 9 without quarterback Andy Dalton for the second straight week. The Cowboys are taking on the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers and will have either Cooper Rush or Garrett Gilbert under center, ensuring stacked boxes against the running game. Elliott has yet to run for 100 yards this season and now hasn't scored in three weeks. He's slowly but surely falling out of the matchup-proof RB1 ranks because of the team's struggles since Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury. He's a high-end RB2 for this contest, but his usual upside is notably limited.
