Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys Close to a Six-Year Deal
5 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is close to signing a six-year, $90 million contract extension. "Zeke" is back in Dallas after spending time training and working out away from the team in Cabo. The deal, if completed as reported, would keep Elliott in Dallas until 2026. It would also give him an average of $15 million per year, tying him with Rams running back Todd Gurley as the highest paid running back in the NFL. After an offseason of uncertainty, it looks like the Cowboys could have their star running back ready to go for Week 1.
