Evander Kane Joins Special List With Three-Point Effort
1 year agoEdmonton Oilers left wing Evander Kane had his most productive performance of the season Sunday against the Flames, becoming only the third player ever to post three points in a Heritage Classic game. He joined Steve Staios and Vinnie Hinostroza on the list with a goal and two assists in a 5-2 win. Kane entered the action having notched only three points during his previous seven appearances this season. He's had a poor start, and it led to a reduction in playing time, which Kane didn't take too kindly. However, on Sunday, he reminded everyone what he's capable of doing when he's in full flow, and that's now five points in three games for the enigmatic winger.
