Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley finished with a game-high 33 points in Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics. He added seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and one steal. With Jarrett Allen (rib) and Donovan Mitchell (calf) both sidelined, Mobley stepped up to deliver his best game of the postseason. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough, as the Cavs' loss on Wednesday meant an end to their playoff run. The 22-year-old ended the regular season by averaging 15.7 points, 1.4 blocks, and a career-high 9.4 rebounds. However, he was limited to just 50 games due to various injuries. Without question, Mobley has plenty of untapped potential, so he'll remain a hot commodity for fantasy managers heading into the 2024-25 campaign. He needs to get more consistent on the scoring end. But that should come in time.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley (ankle) has been listed as questionable on the injury report ahead of Friday's Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers. Cleveland hopes Mobley can return from an ankle sprain suffered in the series opener. With him out, Dean Wade received an opportunity to start in Tuesday's Game 2. The 28-year-old was among the game's leading rebounders with 10 boards but contributed only three points on 1-for-4 shooting. Wade also recorded three assists and one steal in 30 minutes. He will likely maintain an expanded role if Mobley cannot return on Friday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley (ankle) will not play in Tuesday's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. The 2025 NBA Defensive Player of the Year injured his left ankle in Game 1 and was listed as questionable on the initial injury report. The Cavaliers have already been without Darius Garland (toe) and must also do without De'Andre Hunter (thumb) on Tuesday, leaving the team shorthanded. Donovan Mitchell and Ty Jerome are sure to take on leading roles on offense, while Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade are set for a substantial increase in minutes.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley (ankle) may be forced to sit out Tuesday's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers after the team listed him as questionable for the clash. Mobley opened the series with an impressive performance on Sunday, but he also injured his left ankle. The first-year All-Star finished Game 1 with 20 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 36 minutes. De'Andre Hunter (thumb) was also hurt in the contest, and Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson said after Monday's practice that there is "real concern" about the availability of the two for Tuesday night. Dean Wade and Isaac Okoro will have to step up if Mobley and Hunter can't take the court on Tuesday, while Atkinson may also introduce a new big man into the rotation.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers forward/center Evan Mobley had a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double in the opening game of the Eastern Conference semi-finals versus Indiana. He added two steals. Unfortunately, the reigning NBA Defensive Player of the Year had trouble taking care of the ball, committing a game-high four turnovers on the night. Still, Mobley was at least efficient from the field, going 9-for-13, while draining two of his five attempts from deep. With the Pacers taking Game 1, both clubs will go at it again on Tuesday night. While head coach Kenny Atkinson will surely make some adjustments, Mobley will likely see between 30-35 minutes of work.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
